WILD FEATHER EDU/WATERCOLOUR HOMESCHOOL RESOURCES
The Woodland Post Office
Page count: 35
Ages: 5 to 14 years
Step into the imaginary world of the Woodland Post Office, run by tea-loving Mr Badger, slightly grumpy but wonderfully organised Mr Owl, and ever-efficient Mrs Fox.
As autumn arrives and winter draws closer, letters begin pouring in from the woodland animals. Everyone is busy preparing for the cold months ahead, and some are a little worried about what winter might bring. They’ll need to work together, lend a helping paw and make sure everyone is ready — but first, there’s a little autumn celebration to enjoy!
Along the way, children will discover how woodland animals prepare for winter, look for signs of autumn, practise expanding sentences, explore the art of letter writing and become immersed in a gentle, imaginative woodland story.
