This week, we’ll dive into the world of pharaohs, the powerful rulers of Ancient Egypt. We’ll explore how these kings and queens were believed to be gods on Earth and how they were honored in tombs and elaborate pyramids. You’ll discover why the pyramids were built and what they were meant to protect, as well as the important role of tombs in the ancient Egyptians’ beliefs about the afterlife. It’s going to be a week full of discovery about Egypt’s most famous leaders and their monumental achievements!

Hieroglyphs, Culture & Mythology

This week, we’ll explore the fascinating world of hieroglyphs, the ancient Egyptian writing system made up of pictures and symbols. You’ll learn how these symbols were used to record important events, tell stories, and communicate with the gods. We’ll also dive into Egyptian culture, discovering how art, clothing, and daily life were influenced by religion and the gods. Plus, we’ll explore Egyptian mythology, meeting powerful deities like Ra, the sun god, and Anubis, the god of the afterlife, and uncovering the stories that shaped the ancient Egyptians’ beliefs about life and death.

End Project & Review

At the end of the week, we’ll wrap up everything we’ve learned with a fun review of Ancient Egypt. You’ll have the chance to test your knowledge in an exciting escape room challenge, where you'll solve puzzles and answer questions about pharaohs, pyramids, hieroglyphs, and mythology to unlock clues. Finally, we’ll complete our timeline, marking the key events and achievements of Ancient Egypt, so you can see how this amazing civilization developed over time. It’ll be a great way to revisit all the fascinating things we’ve discovered throughout the week!
